What we do

Small acts. Shared streets. A more beautiful borough.

Four pillars guide our work — every project starts with neighbors who decided to show up.

Beautification

Planting and tending gardens, tree pits, and public spaces throughout Glen Ridge.

Community

Bringing neighbors together through seasonal events, plant swaps, and clean-ups.

Service

Partnering with the borough and local groups on civic improvement projects.

Scholarship

Recognizing graduating students who share our commitment to community.

Volunteer-led

Powered by neighbors with shovels, shears, and a Saturday to spare.

Every garden bed, planter, and bloom you see across town was put there by a volunteer. No one is paid. Everyone is welcome — bring gloves, or we'll lend you a pair.

How to get involved

A note from the board

"Beautification isn't decoration — it's an act of belonging. When we tend a corner of our town together, we tend each other."

— The GRBA Board
